About the Author

Conor Bender is an award-winning World War II author. Winner of Chanticleer’s Hemingway Book Award for 20th Century Wartime Fiction, Conor’s debut novel, Jubilee, has sold thousands of copies and has garnered high praise as being a fresh take on the military fiction genre.

Prior to becoming an author, Conor was a Marine Officer who led Marines as a Team Leader, Platoon Commander, & Company Commander. As a Marine, he served as a logistician and foreign military advisor, serving in Africa in support of operations during the Mali Civil War, and in Europe in support of NATO foreign policy goals. His experiences helped shape his stories. While on deployment he began writing his debut novel, Jubilee, a fast-paced telling of the infamous Dieppe Raid of 1942; and the first book in his Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare Series.
